Bible Study Books

This section of the Library contains Commentaries and study guides to help you dig deeper, as well Concordances, Bible Dictionaries, Biblical Languages books (Greek and Hebrew), Bible Geography books and Theological books to help you prepare for preaching or teaching, or for personal study. We have over 1,500 books in this important section - that's 10 bookcases full!.

These books can be borrowed, free of charge, for a long period of time, so if you are preaching a series or want to use them for prolonged study, that's fine with us! There is also space in this section for study, and power sockets for a laptop, if you want to make notes.

Our commentaries are mostly series of sermons that seek to work through a book of the Bible, and explain its meaning more clearly. So they are practical, and not just academic.

We've plenty to choose from; 6 bookcases covering Genesis through to Revelation. Authors include Lloyd-Jones, John Stott, C.H. Spurgeon, Jean Calvin, J.C. Ryle, A.W. Pink, and Martin Luther. Series include those by IVP, Banner of Truth, Christian Focus, Evangelical Press, Day One. We also have whole Bible Commentaries, such as those by Matthew Henry, Matthew Poole and G. Campbell Morgan. You can borrow FREE for long periods!
